Cross-check market facts instead of guessing.
Truth Verify queries available market-data providers independently and reports exactly what answered. It is useful when an agent needs stronger evidence than a single quote: source readings, consensus price, source count, spread, variance, confidence heuristic, proof hash, and Ed25519-signed evidence are returned on accepted delivery.
Live readiness
Ready.
How to read the result
HTTP 402: live provider evidence exists and the $0.005 verification is ready for x402 authorization. HTTP 503 with charged=false: adequate live evidence is not currently available, so settlement does not begin. This prevents a caller from paying for a fabricated or empty consensus result.
What the evidence means
The consensus price is the mean of the real readings that responded. Spread and variance show how tightly those providers agree. Confidence is a transparent spread heuristic, not a forecast probability. The proof hash fingerprints the returned evidence body, while the Ed25519 signature lets downstream systems verify that the evidence package came from the SML service identity.
When to use this versus Quick Quote
Use Quick Quote when speed and low cost matter more than cross-provider certainty. Use Truth Verify when the caller needs to know whether independent feeds agree before making a downstream decision, storing a fact, or attaching evidence to a report.
Truth boundary
This verifies market-data evidence for ticker symbols. It is not a universal claim-verification oracle, a trading recommendation, or a guarantee that every provider is correct. The product exposes disagreement rather than hiding it.
